After a politicized St.Patty’s weekend...the decisions have been made about the rules of the fun times ahead of us. Good luck to all who choose to run. December 2 and 3 in Montreal...oh the fun to be had...
I think the liberal party has a real chance to move ahead and to move forward in a healthy way. OH and we can’t forget to keep on tails of the Conservatives...As we work on leadership, we can’t forget to keep the Conservatives accountable.

Sarah, Think about constitutional ammendments that can be brought forward only at biennial meetings, one of which happens at the same time as the Leadership convention. Membership rules and proceedural changes have to be made to bring this party into the 21st Century instead of an early 20th Century model. These constitutional changes can be brought from the floor and if we work together we might even get some passed.
Make them into LEadership issues. If we don't get them passed then we network some more and do it again in two years. etc etc. Think about what changes might bring the party forward a little put them out there and get back to me.
i've been trying to think of new membership rules that would promote active participation...
please let me know if you have any insights.
