Now that the speech from the thorn has been delivered…I wonder which journalist the Conservative MP Colin Mayes will want to see jailed. Which reporter will dare criticize and attempt to deliver a news report on the speech …their watching you Taber, Duffy, and Fife…if you write the story, you do the time.
Effective and open accountability…I think China’s government is taking notes.

Mayes issued an apology this afternoon. He has had a change of heart. Just like Michael Ignatieff has had a change of heart about torture and going to Iraq. Why not cut Colin the same slack you cut Michael?
It's not just Mayes, it's also removing the press from meetings and scrums...
limiting, removing, and now jailing...
colin mayes is the mp in my riding, ... one has to look at past articles he has had published as 'letters' in our local papers, and would see what babble that comes out of his mouth ... ; even after harper tried to put the muzzle on his mp's.
