"Stephen Harper is so far to the right, he’s wrong."

Well we had the last debate before the big super weekend. Scott did really well. He had the ability to get up there and press the issues. He’s a great debater and would go toe to toe with Stephen Harper.

Scott made great points on aboriginal issues, China, he clearly understands the economy, and regional issues.

AND…he was the best at attacking Harper! We need a leader who is focused on taking on the challenge against Harper.

“Everyone here agrees that we, as Liberals, have a responsibility to beat Stephen Harper.
I rejected Harper’s values,
his party
and his vision for my Canada.”

Scott has the economic, social and environmental vision to beat Stephen Harper.

Stephen Harper is, in actual fact just somewhere to the left of John Kerry... when it comes to an actual analysis of their respective positions on various matters like foreign policy, health care and immigration... etc.

Stephen Harper is not to the left of Kerry in a lot of ways. During debates with Bush, Kerry supports increasing income taxes for the rich and lowering the tax burden for low income Americans. I don't think Harper would ever go there.

Scott Brison is not only a terrifc speaker and debater, and not only does he have the platform everyone else is coming to subscribe to, he is also the only politician who knows how to get it done and how to get it paid for!!

Now, I just wish I knew how to smack one of those banners on my own blog...

Brison did very well today, I grant him that. He and Kennedy looked like they were having fun up there and really enjoying themselves.

By contrast, Rae appeared somewhat indifferent, Dion was distinctly uncomfortable and even Ignatieff (whom I support) looked flustered briefly. Not a great showing for the media's Chosen Ones.

Hi Sarah, I'm doing a feature on my blog regarding the leadership race and was wondering if you'd be interested in participating. Basically all it would entail is me emailing you a small questionaire about your choice.

I would have emailed you about it but I couldn't find an email link.

If you're interested email me robertcode at gmail dot com

Scott was great in the debate. Proved he could go toe to toe with Harper.

Brison always seems to stand out in a debate format. He's also incredibly personable.
I can't picture him surviving more than 3 ballots and wonder just who he'd back. Ignatieff seems like the logical choice due to shared policy and voting pattern, but...
His time will come. Brison is a big part of the party.
Oh and Harpor? Let's just say you'd never find the tubby near a swiftboat, nevermind a slowboat in choppy waters.
